The question is. Do you think the " UV " paint is another new in thing to do? or is it a come on?  Has anyone had ducks pile into a decoy spread do to this painting idea?

Yes its a realistic looking decoy compared to the old style flat paint decoys we used 10 years ago. However, I don't think there is that much of a difference for ducks. As long as they see ducks, hear ducks, they will land near ducks in the early morning hours. The only good thing UV helps compared to the oler style ones is for those bluebird days during afternoon hours. Also if you research some pro tips stating that older chipped painted decoys are better in early season because of the simple fact that ducks haven't matured to their full plumage (color) yet.

Try this on your old decoys.  Wash them throughly and then spray with Armoral tire cleaner.  Works great on making the colors stand out in late season.
